Rosacea

Rosacea cream for skin care

The skin disease rosacea severely affects the lives of those affected. This is because the chronically inflamed rosacea face stands out with its nodules, papules and pustules, as well as redness.

That is why the most important goal of rosacea treatment is to reduce the symptoms or make them disappear.

If rosacea is treated externally, it is applied in the form of a rosacea cream, lotion or gel.

These contain the appropriate active ingredients and can be applied specifically to the affected areas where the fine veins or the very pronounced pustules and nodules are located.

Strengthening the skin barrier is a useful support for the skin as part of rosacea treatment. Probiotic care products that strengthen the skin’s microbiome can help here.

What rosacea creams are available?

Rosacea weakens the skin’s protective barrier, so it is all the more important to care for the skin properly and rebuild the skin’s natural protective barrier. You should therefore look for creams that moisturize and consist of natural ingredients. To treat acute redness and itching associated with rosacea-prone skin, SkinCare Protect should be used to combat the bad bacteria on the skin. To care for skin prone to rosacea, the creams to be used should be free from fragrances, parabens, silicones, paraffins, microplastics, PEGs, PAKS and aluminum. In addition, the creams should consist of various oils to care for the skin, such as jojoba oil, which has an anti-inflammatory effect and provides plenty of moisture. Lactobacillus ferment also contributes to the regeneration of the skin. Some rosacea creams also contain sunscreens to protect the skin from UV rays.

Cream, ointment or lotion?

The difference between the products lies in the water and fat content of each product. There is no water in an ointment, only fat. On the other hand, creams contain a certain amount of water. The lotion contains more water than fat and is therefore also referred to as an oil in water emulsion.

If you suffer from rosacea, you should use products with a high water content, i.e. creams and lotions. Due to the high water content, no greasy film closes the pores of the skin, allowing it to breathe without drying it out. You should also pay attention to the water content of products with a glycerine or silicone oil base.

Products that should be avoided to prevent unnecessary irritation of the skin are products with added fragrances or colorants.

Rosacea cream for sun

UV rays are a particularly high risk factor for rosacea sufferers. For this reason, the skin should be protected from strong UV radiation. Especially between spring and fall, you should avoid direct sunlight and avoid going to the solarium altogether. Applying sun protection products with a high sun protection factor (50+) several times a day also helps to protect the skin from UV radiation. Physical sunblocks with titanium dioxide or zinc oxide are better tolerated by the skin in rosacea than chemical sunscreens.

Rosacea Spray SkinCare Protect

The probiotic skin spray SkinCare Protect from Sanubiom promotes the growth of good bacteria. In addition, the phage technology it contains ensures that the bad bacteria are specifically eliminated.

This rebalances the skin, eliminates irritation and reduces redness.

SkinCare Protect uses Phage Technology to restore and maintain the skin’s natural balance.

Bacteriophages (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus phages) are used to contain the spread of specific bacteria (e.g. Staphlococcus aureus).
