SkinCare Plus studies

The benefits of applying lactic acid bacteria to the skin were investigated by Di Marzio. The study shows that Streptococcus thermophilus can increase the production of ceramides (= skin lipids) when applied topically to the skin. This strengthens the skin barrier, as the skin can bind moisture better.
